Overnight oats are a great, easy & quick breakfast! They are good for many members of a family too, including kids! This recipe has honey in it, so make sure not to give it to kids under one year old. That’s the mom coming out in me! Ha!
They are also a good option for food allergies. Oats are naturally gluten-free, but make sure you purchase gluten free oats because sometimes they can be contaminated with gluten during processing. Overnight oats, by themself, can be a little mushy, if you don’t add things to them. A lot of recipes call for nuts, but that can be difficult if you are allergic to nuts. So to add a little texture to mine, I add freeze dried blueberries. It really helps to give it a balanced texture! Enjoy!
