No Bake Energy Balls

Are you looking for an easy cookie recipe to take to a holiday cookie exchange?  Well, I have a no bake, top 8 free recipe for you then!!

It’s super easy to make and delicious too!  It also has lots of ingredients that are good for you and it’s a little lighter than some other options during the holidays!  I hope you enjoy!

No Bake Energy Balls

Ingredients

-1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats

-1/2 cup quick oats (the mix of oats is good for texture, but you can just use rolled oats if needed)

-1/2 cup dried cranberries

-1/2 cup flaxseed meal

-1/2 cup sunflower butter (or you can substitute other nut butters if you can have them)

-1/3 cup agave nectar

-1 tsp vanilla extract

-1/2 tsp kosher salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Scoop out 1″ balls with a small cookie scoop and place on a foil lined baking sheet.
  3. Once all of the mixture is formed into balls, then place the sheet pan of balls in the freezer for about 1 hour or until the balls are set.
  4. Remover from the freezer and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in an air tight container.  Enjoy!

Tip: Below is the sunflower butter I use!
